The agreement, in plain language
Last updated August 2026. This is a working draft while Shiftly is in evaluation; it will be reviewed by counsel before general availability.
The service
Shiftly is workforce management software: attendance, scheduling, leave, and overtime tracking, accessed through the web dashboard and a mobile app, backed by one shared record.
Evaluation pricing
While Shiftly is in evaluation, every organization uses the full product at no cost, with no credit card required. See the pricing page for what billing looks like once evaluation ends; existing organizations get a 90-day trial before any charge begins.
Your responsibilities
An organization is responsible for the accuracy of the roles it assigns and for complying with the employment and labor laws that apply to it. Shiftly provides the tools to record attendance accurately; it does not provide legal advice about how those records should be used.
Account security
Each person is responsible for keeping their own credentials confidential and for enabling multi-factor authentication where their organization requires it. Report a suspected compromise to your organization's administrator immediately.
Data ownership
An organization owns the data it creates in Shiftly. If an organization stops using Shiftly, it can export its records; Shiftly does not retain them for any purpose beyond what the organization's own retention settings specify.
Availability
Shiftly is provided during evaluation without an uptime guarantee. A formal service level agreement will apply once the product reaches general availability.
Changes
These terms may change as the product moves from evaluation to general availability. Material changes will be communicated to organization administrators before they take effect.
